Gemma graduated from Keele University in 2002, earning a dual honours degree in Criminology, Sociology and Social Anthropology.   

Gemma joined the team at Butterworths in 2003 as a legal secretary and progressed to case-handling in conveyancing, qualifying as a Licensed Conveyancer on 1st April 2014.

Gemma works exclusively in residential conveyancing, mainly handling transactions of properties based in Cumbria and North East, with extensive knowledge in respect of leasehold and “Tyneside flats” (usually a pair of flats within a 2-storey terraced property but each with their own front door to the street).
