Kathryn Barnett

Assistant Solicitor

Kathryn qualified as a solicitor in 2014 after obtaining her Law Degree at the University of Lincoln and completing her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law.

Kathryn joined the Private Client team at Butterworths in 2020.

Since qualifying as a solicitor, Kathryn has worked in both the legal department of a large unitary local authority where she was involved with all aspects of planning law, and prosecutions in the Magistrates’ Court and a Private Client team of another Cumbrian law firm.

Kathryn advises on all aspects of Private Client work including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Advance Decisions, Will trusts, Court of Protection and Intestacy.

Kathryn is a fully qualified member of Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE).
